Pushkar, located in Ajmer district in Rajasthan, is the only city with a Lord Brahma Temple. It is situated alongside the shore of Pushkar Lake. It is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. The city is dotted with many beautiful temples. Brahma temple is built with marble and stone slabs. You will also visit the famous Pushkar Lake. According to a popular legend, Lord Brahma himself manifested the lake when he dropped a lotus flower there. The tour also includes a visit to a vibrant bazaar in Pushkar. Day 1 (28-11-2024)

The excursion from Jaipur to Pushkar will begin at 8:00 AM. Our chauffeur and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel in Jaipur and drive you to Pushkar city which is a 3-4 hours long journey.
Upon your arrival in Pushkar, you will first head to the famous temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. It is renowned for being the only temple in the world that is dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple has a beautiful building with marble pillars on its sides and a unique red Shikhara. The sanctum sanatorium of the temple is home to a striking four-faced statue of Lord Brahma with his divine consort Gayatri. At the entrance of the temple is a statue of the Sun God, guarding the complex. Unlike other statues of Gods and Goddesses, this statue is adorned with ancient boots.
After visiting the temple, you will also visit a local restaurant for lunch and try some Rajasthani cuisine of your choice. Then we will take you to the tranquil Pushkar Lake—an indispensable experience in any Jaipur to Pushkar one-day trip. The creation of the lake is credited to Lord Brahma himself who manifested by dropping a lotus flower. The lake is considered a holy water body where several pilgrims come to bathe.
For the final leg of your Pushkar day trip from Jaipur, we will take you to the local market for some retail therapy. At the end of your trip, our chauffeur will drop you back to your hotel in Jaipur.
