Day 1 (28-11-2024)

Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at around 10:00 AM by an air-conditioned car. You will be dropped at the Churchgate Station where you will board the first-class compartment of a local train from Churchgate to Mahalaxmi Station at 10:30 AM.
Upon reaching the Mahalaxmi Station at 11:00 AM, observe the sorting process of lunch boxes and learn about the intricate logistics of Dabbawalas' operations. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide as you witness the Dabbawalas disembarking lunch boxes from the train as they begin their delivery routes. During the train journey, you can also interact with the Dabbawalas to learn about their work ethic, punctuality, and awe-inspiring organizing skills.
Next, we will take you on the guided sightseeing tour of Dhobi Ghat. Explore Dhobi Ghat, world’s largest open-air laundry where thousands of washermen launder clothes. Conclude your Dabbawala and Dhobi Ghat tour as our driver drops you back to your hotel.
