Day 1 (28-11-2024)

Step into the beating heart of Punjab with your Amritsar City tour starting at 9:00 a.m. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel, airport, or railway station. Relax and enjoy the ride through the city as the tour guide shares interesting stories of Amritsar with you. Your first stop will be at the Golden Temple. You will be amazed by its golden splendor and the beautiful holy water of Amrit Sarovar surrounding it beautifully.
Following this spiritual experience, proceed to Jalianwala Bagh, a page in the history of the Indian independence movement where more than 1000 innocent lives were lost on the order of a British brigadier general, Reginald Dyer. After this visit, you will be taken to a local Punjabi restaurant for a delicious lunch to relish.
Your shopping spree begins post-lunch, as our driver will drive you to the famous Hall Bazaar and other local markets in Amritsar. You can buy beautiful handicrafts, ornaments, beautiful hand-woven garments with phulkari work, electronics, and many more.
Around 3:00 p.m. you will be leaving for the India & Pakistan beating retreat ceremony at the Wagah border. On your arrival, you will experience a deep sense of patriotism, with echoes of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. Watch the parade of the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistani Rangers, firm and friendly handshakes between the soldiers of both countries, the lowering of flags, and the gate closing ceremony.
As the sun sets, you will be proceeding towards the Sadda Pind Punjabi village resort. Enjoy the night by participating in the vibrant celebrations of Punjabi culture. Groove to Gidha and Bhangra music, savor refreshing lassi, go on a camel safari, admire some beautiful phulkari work on fabrics, and indulge in the flavors of Punjab with special dishes like makki di roti, sarson da saag, Amritsari naan, rabri, jalebi, and more.
