Day 1: An Evening at Marine Drive

Your Mumbai city tour will begin as our friendly driver comes to pick you up from the Mumbai Airport and takes you to the pre-booked hotel arranged by us. After checking in, you can spend some time unwinding and relaxing. At 4:00-5:00 PM in the evening, we will take you to one of the most prominent places in the city—Marine Drive.

When viewed from an elevated vantage point at night, the lit up site resembles a gorgeous pearl necklace, giving it the name the Queen’s Necklace. Needless to say, it is a sight to behold! Spend a peaceful evening admiring the magnificence of the Arabian Sea at Marine Drive, after which our driver will take you back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing Tour

After relishing a fine breakfast spread, check out from the hotel and join our driver and Mumbai tour guide in an exciting city excursion. First, visit the marvelous Gateway of India—an arch monument built to commemorate George V’s visit to India in 1911. Next, we will visit the Prince of Wales Museum, now known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya.

Later, we will drive past some of the most popular sites in Mumbai to get an outside glimpse. These include University of Bombay, High Court of Bombay, and the Crawford Market. We will then reach our next destination, the Hanging Gardens. The alluring greenery amidst concrete structures is a unique sight that stays with you.

Afterwards, we will proceed to the Malabar Hill—an upscale residential area of Mumbai, followed by visiting the Gandhi Memorial Museum or Mani Bhavan. This building was once Gandhi’s abode for several years and now houses memorabilia related to the freedom fighter and India’s freedom movement.

For the last leg of the tour, we will take you to Dhobi Ghat—world’s largest open-air laundry. Witness the awe-inspiring process of washing, ironing, and bleaching more than a 100,000 clothes in a single day!

Finally, our driver will take you on a drive past the exquisite Bandra-Worli sea link and then drop you back to your hotel or airport, as per your instructions. With this, your 2 days long Mumbai sightseeing trip will come to a memorable end!
