2-Day Guided Ayodhya Tour from Kolkata

Day 1: Ayodhya Arrival and Sightseeing

Your tour will begin as you board your pre-booked flight from Kolkata to Ayodhya from the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Dum Dum, Kolkata. Our driver will be waiting for you with a placard of your name at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. You will be picked up and taken to your hotel for check-in and a short break to rest.

Once you are well-rested, we will take you for the much-awaited Ayodhya excursions beginning with the Ram Janmabhoomi tour. Pay a visit to the glorious birthplace of Lord Rama inaugurated recently in January 2024. After that, we will take you to Hanuman Garhi—a 10th-century temple dedicated to Hanuman. Its walls are inscribed with Hanuman Chalisa’s verses giving it a unique charm. Next, we will take you to Kanak Bhawan. Now a temple of Ram and Sita, it was actually a private place gifted to them by Queen Kaikei. You will also get to explore the grand Dashrath Mahal—a palace belonging to Lord Rama’s father where Lord Rama spent his childhood.

For the last leg of the trip, we will take you to Ram Ki Paidi—a series on ghats on the Saryu River where Lord Rama himself came to take his daily baths. You can also take a dip in the holy river or just enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings. As the day comes to an end, our driver will drive you to your hotel where you can rest for the night.

Day 2: Departure to Kolkata

On the morning of day 2, you will be served a tasty breakfast, after which you will check out of the hotel and join our driver as he takes you back to the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. You will board your flight to Kolkata and, with this, your Ayodhya sightseeing tour package from Kolkata will come to an end.
