Day 1 (01-12-2024)

Day 1: Wagah Border Excursion
As you reach the Amritsar airport/railway station, you will find our chauffeur waiting to take you on a remarkable Golden Temple tour. But before you visit the renowned site, we will take you to your hotel to check-in and freshen up. The first part of your tour will begin with a visit to the Wagah Border. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 3:00 PM to take you to the Indo-Pak Beating Retreat Ceremony. The ceremony includes an energetic parade by the soldiers of both the countries followed by the lowering of the flags. The sight instills pride in every Indian’s heart and stays with you for a long time.
After the patriotic ceremony, you will be escorted back to your hotel in an AC car. At night, we will take you on a drive to get an enchanting view of the Golden Temple. This short glimpse will be enough to excite you for the next day’s Golden Temple trip. After returning, spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 (02-12-2024)

Day 2: Amritsar Tour
After savoring a delicious breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and our driver will take you to the magnificent Golden Temple. You will explore the prominent pilgrimage site for the Sikhs with an experienced tour guide. He will brief you about the history of the temple which was built by the 5th Sikh Guru in the 16th century!
After the Golden Temple, we will visit another prominent site in Amritsar—the Jallianwala Bagh. Once a public garden, the place is now renowned as the site for the massacre of 1951 by the British forces. It is a place of national importance visited by many travelers throughout the year.
As per the final attraction of the Golden Temple package, we will take you for a shopping spree at the local markets of the city, including the famous Hall Bazaar. Once you are satisfied with your retail experience, our driver will drop you at the Amritsar airport/railway station. With this a thrilling 2-day Golden Temple trip package will come to an end.
